Craft is a skill that is used to describe artistic works like sculpting, weaving, glass arts, pottery, paper art etc. There are hundreds types of such imaginative crafts work based on the various media. Clay is one of these media that is used to create various types of fine decorative items.

Traditionally we see people using the organic clay to create new designs and models. But today polymer clay is one of the most exciting, versatile and colorful medium used to create different structure, designs and models. The polymer clay is a plastic based clay, made of polyvinyl chloride. On baking the created design, the clay fuses to form a hard plastic. The structure can be cured when seen to have cracks or breakages by mending that part and again baking it. The polymer clay is also available with some special features like translucence and florescence.

Molding the polymer clay, one can make thousands of different shapes, structures, designs, and even decorative items. The polymer clay can be used to create faces, animal structures, wall hangings, flowers, jewelleries, boxes and much more. Taking a hard media like wood or ceramic tiles as a base, one can mold the colored clay above it into different imaginative structures.
