Polymer Clay Pins

Attractive and enchanting items can be made using polymer clay. Pins of polymer clay can be made to look like umbrellas, berries, Santa Claus, pirates, ice candy, pastries, flowers etc. If you have the time and the inclination you can make them yourselves.

First of all you will need a push mold of the item you want to create.

Before placing the polymer clay into the mold, spray/dust a little baby powder in the mold so that the clay does not stick to the mold.

You can choose whatever color you like and make it into the shape of a ball.

Push the clay ball into the mold and then very gently take it out.

Decorations and artwork can now be done to create the look of the desired object.

Also leave room for the pin to be attached.

Now bake it on Pyrex dish after covering it with paper. (Maintain the specified temperature).

When it cools down attach the pin with glue and leave it to harden. Also do not turn it or change its position as it may leave marks or alter the shape/disfigure the item you have created.
